About Us

Project Purl was founded in 2010 by Wendi Bissonnette. A knitter herself, Wendi was looking for a way to give back to the community and help those in need. Unable to find a local organization taking these types of donations she decided to work on starting one of her own. And so Project Purl was born. Accepting donations of hand knit/crochet hats, scarves, mittens, and socks from across the country Project Purl serves the homeless of the Greater Manchester, NH community.
